Degree Requirements

General Education

| Math 167/268/262/272 | 3 | Successfully complete one of the following courses with a C or better grade: Math 167, 268, 262, 272. |
| 6 hrs humanities | 6 | Complete 6 credit hours of humanities chosen from the following areas: African- American studies, classics, modern or ancient languages, history, honors, philosophy, religion, southern studies, or gender studies. |
| 3 hrs behavioral science | 3 | Complete 3 credit hours of behavioral science chosen from the following areas: anthropology, geography, journalism, political science, psychology, and sociology. |
| 3 hrs fine & perform arts | 3 | Complete 3 hours in the area of fine or performing arts. Choose from art history, music, dance, and theatre arts. |
| 6-8 hrs science | 6 | Complete 6-8 hours of natural science courses with labs from the following areas: biology, chemistry, geology, physics, or astronomy, Liba 150 and Liba 151 |
| 2 science labs | 2 | Successfully complete at least two science laboratory courses. Courses may be chosen from the departments of Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Geology and Geological Engineering, or Physics and Astronomy as well as Liba 150 & 151. |
| Accy 201 | 3 | Complete Accy 201 with a passing grade. A minimum grade of B is required in Accy 201 to take Accy 303 (a required course for accounting majors). |
