Minor - Child Advocacy Studies
Minor - Child Advocacy Studies
Description
The minor in child advocacy studies (CAST) is an interdisciplinary program to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of working with children and youths, particularly those who have experienced the trauma of maltreatment. It is supported by a funded grant through the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Mississippi. The minor is designed to better equip students in their work with various agencies and systems including social services, health care, and the criminal justice system.
