MDS 201: Introduction to Engaged Learning
General Studies
The Introduction to Engaged Learning course will develop skills in three key areas:
• Engaged Learning Awareness • Career Exploration, and • Engaged Learning Agency
The course is designed to strengthen students' engaged learning awareness – an understanding of the programs, experiences, and courses offered at the University of Mississippi. It is designed to cultivate students' professional exploration – the ability to envision and articulate experiences that support and supplement individual academic and professional pathways. The course is also designed to develop students' engaged learning agency – an understanding of and a willingness to participate in experiences that influence and transform their academic, personal, and professional development.
