B.S. in Engineering
Description
The B.S. in engineering provides the student with a fundamental knowledge of engineering science and prepares graduates for a variety of careers in industry and government, or for advanced study in engineering, business, or professional school.

- 3 hours of fine arts or humanities

- 3 additional hours of humanities, social science, or a general education course as defined by the School of Engineering

Emphasis - Pre-Med Studies
Description
An emphasis in pre-med studies is intended to prepare students for further study in medical school.
Course Requirements
For an emphasis in pre-med studies, students must complete the following 24 hours:
- Bisc 160 (3)
- Bisc 161 (1)
- Bisc 162 (3)
- Bisc 163 (1)
- Chem 221 (3)
- Chem 225 (1)
- Chem 222 (3)
- Chem 226 (1)
- 8 hours of 300+ level Chem, Bisc, or Psy.
Additionally, students must take Psy 201 (3), which may count as a social science elective.
