AT 606: Orthopedic Eval of Athletic Injuries II

This combined lecture/laboratory course serves to provide students with the examination techniques used in the clinical diagnosis of injuries to the lower extremity including the lumbar spine. Applied anatomy of orthopedic structures in the lower body will be emphasized and will provide a foundation for the examination. Students will gain knowledge and functional ability to gather information through patient history, observation, palpation, assessment of range of motion and muscle function, and associated special tests.
