Edhe 757: Comparative Higher Education
Higher Education
This course is designed to enable the student to identify, analyze, and synthesize key dimensions of international systems of higher education through an immersion experience. The historical and cultural foundations of international educational systems will be examined, as well as salient issues such as funding, governance structure, and student life. Other phenomena, such as globalization and technological advances will be explored, as well as the impact of international and national policy and politics on higher education abroad and in the United States.
