The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

SAS 604: Academic Advising, Support in Athletics

SCHOOL OF APPLIED SCIENCES

This course will examine the role of athletic academic advising and support, including an in-depth exploration of athletic academic advisors, learning specialists, and academic mentors and tutors. Additionally, the training of each group will be part of the course. Strategies for advising, reporting, and communication with various campus entities will be discussed.
