S St 560: Oral History of Southern Social Movement
CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF SOUTHERN CULTURE
This course focuses on the history of American social movements (with an emphasis on the South), oral history methodology, and the uses of oral history interviews in historical research. Throughout the semester, students will create and use in depth, oral history interviews as well as survey scholarship that has effectively used oral history research.
