UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Law 665: Bioethics

SCHOOL OF LAW

A three-hour course that covers a broad range of bioethics issues, including stem cell research, fetal tissue research, genetic testing, genetic engineering, human experimentation, the right-to-die, the right to demand medical treatment, physician-assisted suicide, reporductive rights, surrogate reproduction, medical informed consent, feminism issues regarding medical treatments, racism involving medical treatments, and other standard bioethics issues relating to patients' due process, interest, and right of privacy.
