Description
Knowledge of a foreign language is important in today's world for practical, cultural, and intellectual reasons. Those who are proficient in a second language have a clear advantage in many fields, becoming "citizens of the world" in a time when communication with and an understanding of other cultures are paramount.
Course Requirements
The minor in Korean requires the completion of 15 hours of Korean courses, exclusive of 100-level courses and Kor 211.
Other Academic Requirements
Grades lower than C in modern languages courses will not be counted toward the major or minor in modern languages.
