Jour 330: Media Performance
SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM & NEW MEDIA
This course is designed to give the student practical presentation skills, including in-person speeches, reporting on the web, and delivering the news on television. By the end of the course, the student will have a better understanding of effective communicate with an audience in various media. Some time will be spent on dialect reduction and phonetic pronunciation. The course will address some appearance issues, such as clothes, hair, and makeup, but the bulk of the course will be instruction in writing and delivery of the news.
