The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Overview

The Department of English offers a minor and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English. At the graduate level, the department offers a Master of Arts (M.A.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English and a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in creative writing.

Other Information

The six hours of composition required by the College of Liberal Arts are prerequisites for all 200-level literature courses. One 200-level literature course is the prerequisite for all 300-level and above English courses.
