The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction

Description

The M.A. in curriculum and instruction is offered for students who participate in the Mississippi Teacher Corps program. Teacher Corps is a two-year program, similar to the Peace Corps, that recruits college graduates to teach in the Mississippi Delta. The program is designed for noneducation majors and offers a host of benefits, including: - Teacher training and certification; - Full scholarship for a master's degree in education; - Job placement that includes full pay ($30,000+) and benefits; - The opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students in one of the poorest areas of the country.

Minimum Total Credit Hours: 30
