Description
A minor in Engineering consists of 18 hours of coursework in one of the following areas of emphasis: general engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, geological engineering, or mechanical engineering. The courses are to be chosen with the advice and approval of a faculty adviser assigned by the dean of engineering. Students interested in the engineering minor should acquaint themselves with the mathematics, chemistry, and physics courses which are prerequisite to the engineering courses.
This minor is not valid for those pursuing a major in Engineering.
