Soc 362: Sustainable Development

This course provides a general introduction to the principles of sustainable development. It explores topics such as the history of sustainable development, the precautionary principle, the risk society and well-being, governance and environmental justice, conservation and protected areas, growth-oriented economic paradigms, food systems, renewable energy, and measuring progress.
