Chin 500: Exploring 20th-century Chinese Society

Students will explore topics such as the political and social changes before and after the 1949 Revolution in China, social life and customs in the 20th century of China, roles of men and women in traditional Chinese society, gender and racial discrimination, and traditional Chinese family values.
