Anth 417: Environmentalism: Society, Politics, Law

This seminar examines environmental activism at the intersection of society, politics, and law. Taking a global perspective, the course highlights the challenges facing environmentalist movements, such as resource extra-activism, corporate impunity, regulatory capture, unequal access to the legal system, accelerating pollution, and climate change.
