The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

HP 675: Advanced Theoretical Appl Hlth Behavior

HEALTH, EXERCISE SCI & RECREATION MGMT

This course focuses on the theoretical underpinnings of health behavior and health promotion strategies. Factors related to the initiation, maintenance, and change of health behaviors are reviewed in depth, and application of these principles to health promotion with individuals, groups, and communities are presented.
