The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

MHA 642: Health Care Finance

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The course will study the fundamentals of healthcare financing from a global administrative perspective through both managerial accounting and finance. Core finance topics such as working capital, resource allocation, financial analysis, third-party reimbursement and provider tax status/implications will be the main foci for this course. Alond with basic accounting principles and conventions.
